It's been HOT here and the lettuce is threatening to bolt! Always plenty to share around the neighborhood and with friends. Slime free thanks to the possums who live in the old car shed behind the fence. We discovered where they were living when our elderly neighbor sold her father's '59 International pick up truck. When she and the buyers pulled a cover off the bed they discovered a family of possums had been living there. The truck is gone, but the possums seem to have found another room in the shed since they are still foraging in this garden. I am so pleased. Ciao, Bello!
